VIVA LA SURF REVOLUCION!
When Roark was sowing the seeds of Revival in Volume 6: “Cuba Libre” surfing was a tough task for the local Cubans. Three years later and surfing is still a tough task for local Cubans but with the embargo lifted, the tourism tide is slowly filling in and the wave of surfing is starting to fill in. With an assist from Roark, Surfing Magazine’s, Beau Flemister, recently visited the island to find surfing is alive and although not yet well but improving every day that passes. Viva La Surf Revolucion!
