CLASSIC REVIVAL

Roark was a proud sponsor of the 50th Annual Brooks St. Surfing Classic this past weekend in Laguna Beach, Ca. The classic had not run since 2010 due to a lack of necessary conditions. The winner’s were presented with engraved Roark X Buck Knives that were specially packaged with a list of the legendary champions who have won the Classic dating back to July 31, 1955. A reminder to when surfers were true waterman that would drink jug wine and sleep beside a campfire on the beach before they would compete the next day wave riding on surfboards, paddleboards and with their bodies. Revivalist, Ryan Hitzel finaled in the Masters Division, placing 4th overall.
